The Fondation Ensemble

A message from Ms. Fuchsia Desmazières:

The Fondation Ensemble is a French private foundation, set up by the Bremond's familiy. The aim of the Fondation Ensemble is to grant projects geared towards promoting a new kind of human development incorporating environmental protection. The foundation supports projects promoting a sustainable improvement of the living conditions of the target populations, with a significant positive impact on the environment, in various field as renewable energies, sustainable agriculture, waste management, water and sanitation, protection of biodiversity and environmental education (only in France for this last topic).

For the next two years, Fondation Ensemble has chosen to act within the framework of three programs and in particular the Water and Sanitation program: the foundation seeks projects that provide water services to people living in developing countries, while protecting the resource. Thus, we are interested by the implementation of ecosanitation or rainharvesting solutions for instance.

The foundation supports programs over three years (minimum grant: 50 000 euros per project and per annum) and has chosen projects mainly in Senegal, Burkina Faso, Peru, India, Cambodia and France. We are interested in funding projects but also in creating relations with other institutions involved in same fields to share experience and/or projects in common.
