GEF IW Conference Groundwater Forum
This is a portal to a Groundwater Forum that is carried out UNESCO/IGRAC under the GEF-International Waters Learning Exchange and Resource Network (IW:LEARN) activity: "Aquifer/Groundwater- Structured Learning".
In the Forum, the project directors, programme managers and GEF-IW representatives discuss, forward and enhance knowledge on the cooperation under current GEF IW aquifer projects.
How does the Forum work?
In brief, the debate in the Forum -with the focus on experience sharing- is expected to:
- identify and assess the participant's learning needs;
- develop the aims and the means to address the needs, and,
- assist in preparations of the "Track 3" Aquifer Breakout sessions at Third Biennial International Water Conference in Salvador do Brazil, June 2005.
- assist in preparations of the Fourth Biennial International Water Conference to be held in Cape Town from July 31 - August 3, 2007.
At this moment the forum is meant for a limited group of GEF IW aquifer projects participants. As a project participant or a forum guest, you have received an e-mail with an invitation to join the Groundwater Forum. The e-mail contains the common username and the password required to enter the forum environment.
In the environment you could read and download the documents and, indeed, read the contributions to the various fora. If you would like to contribute to one of the on-going discussions just click on the action button (at the right side of a discussion item you want to reply to), choose "Reply", write and sign your contribution and click at o.k. button.
