IWA WaterWiki - Your online information resource and link to the global water community

http://www.iwawaterwiki.org/

The WaterWiki, a new website providing a place to interact and share knowledge online, has been launched by IWA for the global water community. The WaterWiki is a freely accessible online information resource that is growing rapidly into an invaluable reference for water professionals. It also provides networking features enabling you to discuss your work and interact with colleagues and peers across the world.

The WaterWiki is more than an encyclopedia. IWA are building a community of practice on the website that will make it a crucial online destination for both researchers and practitioners currently working in the water, wastewater and environmental science, management and development fields.

Here are some of the fast developing Wiki features:

Featured Articles

Featured Articles lists the most complete and up to date articles on the Water Wiki, as selected by the Wiki reviewers. Check the coverage in your specialist area, and leave comments for the authors in the Article Discussion area.

Group Spaces

Group spaces are a unique feature for groups and research networks: a free web space for you and your group to communicate and store information. The WaterWiki can provide a permanent host for your project, offering a customizable area for you to share ideas and discuss research findings.

Forum

The IWA WaterWiki features a Forum where registered users can have informal discussions around different subject areas. This is also the space to talk about upcoming conferences and events, calls for papers, to post links to useful online resources and to ask questions.

Organization Profiles

The Organization space provides an area for you to include a profile of your organization and links to all of your relevant web pages. Add a description of your organization or working group, highlighting its importance to the water community.

More details on all of these are available on the WaterWiki website - http://www.iwawaterwiki.org/. Contact the site manager in order to find out how you or your organization can participate.
