GGMN workshop/VACI2016 Symposium in Hanoi, Vietnam

On Monday 3 October, the 5th Vietnam wAter Cooperation Initiative (VACI) symposium will be held at the Almaz Convention Center in Hanoi, Vietnam. The next two days, IGRAC will organise a training course on 'Monitoring and Assessment of Transboundary Aquifers' together with NAWAPI and BGR. Director Neno Kukuric and Researcher Nienke Ansems will represent IGRAC during both events.

VACI Symposium

IGRAC Director Neno Kukuric will participate in a panel discussion on “Improving water management in transboundary basins: challenges and opportunities” and give a presentation on “Groundwater monitoring and mapping of transboundary aquifers” during session A5 about managing transboundary aquifers.  

Groundwater Monitoring in Asia

On the 4th and 5th October, a training course on 'Monitoring and Assessment of Transboundary Aquifers' will be organised by IGRAC, NAWAPI and BGR.This training course in Vietnam is part of IGRAC's Global Groundwater Monitoring Network (GGMN). Previously, GGMN workshops were organised in China and Thailand. Groundwater monitoring is one of IGRAC's main focal areas.
