This side event will focus on the proposed establishment of a network of isotope-enabled water laboratories. The IAEA is proposing to collaborate with financial and scientific partners to develop a network of water analysis laboratories that are isotope-enabled. This network would form the backbone of the IAEA’s technical capacity development actions and would have both global and regional applications. The network would provide countries with the ability and means to generate the data and information they need to better understand their water resources and to plan, implement and interrogate actions that support national water governance and resilience of supply.
