On 9 October 2013, Free Flow, the UNESCO publication for the International Year of Water Cooperation was officially launched during the Budapest Water Summit. A contribution from IGRAC regarding cooperation over transboundary aquifers is included in the book as well as numerous other contributions from statesmen and dignitaries as well as organizations facilitating water cooperation all over the globe.

IGRAC’s section entitled, “Cooperation over transboundary aquifers: lessons learned from 10 years of experience,” describes what our projects and capacity building initiatives have shown us about transboundary aquifer cooperation. It also features the preliminary results of a study conducted specifically for the Year of Water Cooperation, which is scheduled for release in early December. A complete digital copy of Free Flow is available here and a hard copy of the book can be ordered here
