The WWDR 2017 will be launched on 22 March 2017, which is the international World Water Day. The launch event will take place in the Sandton Conference Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. During the event the main findings of the WWDR 2017 will be presented to the audience and to the media.
The United Nations World Water Development Report (WWDR) is the UN’s flagship report on water. It is published each year with a focus on different strategic water issues. The 2017 World Water Development Report focuses on wastewater. The launch of the World Water Development Report 2017 is at the core of the World Water Day celebrations. The theme of the Report has been aligned with the World Water Day: both focus on wastewater this year.
