Davi Cardoso

Brazil Correspondent Davi Cardoso is a geology graduation student at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. His main areas of expertise are geology and hydrogeology.

Why did you decide to join the Groundwater Correspondents Network?

"I think this project has a great potential to be an improvement of the quilombola’s quality of life by increasing the availability of water for them. Also, it is a good opportunity to publicize the university's work to the local community, in addition to recovering the credibility of scientific production in the eyes of society."

Which topics would you like to cover during your period as correspondent?

"Quality of groundwater, aquifer modeling, video making, communication strategies."
