Department of Geology belongs to Institute of Ecology and Earth Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology at Tartu University. 

The mission of the Geology Department is to provide high-quality Geology Education and to promote Geological Sciences in Estonia, and to benfit for society by translating the implications of research through outreach and service.
