IGRAC, as a part of UNESCO water family, is working very close with UNESCO-IHP Secretariat on implementation of the International Hydrological Programme. Additionally, IGRAC contributes to the World Water assessment Programme (WWAP) and has an increasing number of common activities with UNESCO-IHE and other UNESCO Water Centra.

Our strongest link with WMO is through the WMO-led and supported network of global observations: groundwater is recognised as one of essential climate variables and therefore necessary for estimation and prediction of a climate change impact.

IAH is our professional association and IGRAC work closely with IAH commissions and members all over the World.

We are very grateful to the Government of the Netherlands for continuous financial support, necessary for existence of IGRAC as a non-profit foundation.
